Legionnaire - Morocco 1900-1910 and Fusilier-Marín Siege de Paris 1870-1871. These figures, along with Jeanne d'Arc were made by King & Country exclusively for Toys Soldiers Paris.

Brad, I really like the Fusilier-Marin from 1870-71. One of the only Franco-Prussian War figures available in 1/30 scale. It is a very colorful period for uniforms. Too bad no one has chosen to do figures from this war. -- Al

Al, i thought these were great figures. It's a shame that they didn't make any more and that the company decided to discontinue operations.

Perhaps John's best model to date (at least until I see a DH-2 firsthand:wink2:). Smart buy, Brad. This is a great model that is difficult to find. I have been on John to make more SE-5's but he has been rather busy. Just a superb rendition of the 'Mount of the Aces'. -- Al

Thanks Al. I purchased this from Treefrog about two years ago and it was the last one they had. It's super. I only have two of John's other KOTS planes.

I love the coloring too Al. What is your favorite plane that John has made?

Tough to answer, Brad, as my favorite tends to change on a regular basis. I think the SE-5 is probably the best current model, but I love the Guynemer and Luke Spads, and I am also partial to the two Udet aircraft, the black and white stripped triplane and the black and white stripped Fokker D-7. Having said all that, along with the Mannock SE-5, I would choose the outstanding Kempf triplane with the superb overall camo. It is just a fantastic paint job. -- Al

I find all his airplanes spectacular and colorful. If I had the room -- and maybe I will have to make the room -- I'd like to purchase the Albatross.

Any particular favorite? JJD currently has 3 Albatros to chose from. I currently own just one, the Lowenhardt version. Had I room, I would have the other 2, as well.:wink2: -- Al
