Looking at the breadth of your collection, I was starting to wonder whether if you are the standard of a toy soldier collector, I would even qualify as one. And then this came along. This is Zach! And I feel right at home again.

That is definitely Zach!

I've always found collecting to be an ADD challenge. I admire people who can stick to one time period or one company. I find it hard to do so.

Haha!!!

One time period.... can't do it! I gave up trying when I made my first purchase!

South Carolina Volunteer, to go along with my other SCVs. The figure is Russian, although I'm not sure of the maker.

A useful figure. I don't collect FoB range but I bought this flag bearer because I wanted the flag he holds, the 67th RI, for my KC WW1 range, the 1914 French. This flag gave me, along with the FW084 (the flag bearer of the 1914 series, of the 7th RI), 2 regiments to display marching to war. Obviously, I purchased 2 FW084's and simply replaced the flag of one 7th RI with the flag of the 67th RI from the FoB range. I keep thinking I'll repaint the FoB flag bearer in Horizon Blue, but I haven't done it yet. -- Al

Thanks Al. Maybe Andy will do it some today. The FOB range when it was focused on Dunkirk was a tremendous range.

Brad,

I've been following the posts you make here as you show us your outstanding collection. You certainly have an immense and variegated collection and I've enjoyed closely watching this thread of yours, seeing it all as you update it.

Thanks for sharing this with us.

Mark

Thanks Mark, I appreciate it. I don't think I've posted the set you traded to me a few months ago but if not will do that tomorrow.

This is the figure I acquired from Mark in a trade. It was a great trade for the both of us, what they call a "win, win" ^&cool

Saxon Guard du Corps Officer by First Legion from their Napoleonic range. A superb figure.

Thanks, yes, I love it. I also have a similar one that I will try to post tomorrow.

It had been surmised before that many FL figures are based on historical paintings/photos:
