Well fought Belgium - as always throughout history. Never played Hockey myself Guy but loved the chocolates at Brugge. :salute::

You should never boast about a sporting triumph - you'd never catch an Australian doing that!{sm4}{sm4}{sm4}{sm4}

No offense but you're getting excited about field hockey :rolleyes2:

The real hockey championships are here in the US, yes the kind they play on ice.

So you have to play it while using Methamphetamine?

If I knew what that was I could answer the question :wink2:

The answer is it's not a good thing, especially while playing ice hockey!

Methamphetamine, also known as metamfetamine, meth, ice, clouds crystal, glass, tik, N-methylamphetamine, methylamphetamine, and desoxyephedrine, is a psychostimulant of the phenethylamine and amphetamine class of psychoactive drugs. Highly addictive, methamphetamines such as speed and ice can cause long-term physical and mental health problems.

Australian forum members cheer up, it is not all doom and gloom.

After all I recall Australia recently won the Chelsea flower show gardening competition and I am pretty sure did well in the chasing the cheese down the hill event.

Belgium and the USA did not have the courage to enter ^&grin

PS Guy, well done to Belgium on the Hockey.

You run with the hare and hunt with the hound don't you.

Are you an Australian bravely accepting a run of defeats or are you an Englishman enjoying our pain? You cannot be both. In fact I think your guys won the flower show - your pansies were better than ours.

I think a small bit of wicked English would be coming out of Brett on this one Marty! :wink2:

Jack,
The first option. Trying to look at the bright side {sm4}
I did say to somebody in the shop before the Lions v Oz game that it would be win win for me but during the game I found I was on the Australian side after all. However if Wayne picked up a Lions Rugby shirt on the bus I would also be happy to wear it{sm4}. ^&confuse

And here was me thinking Brett was an 'All-Blacks' supporter....{sm3}

Is it something to do with 'bat-n-ball' games - now a Belgian knocks out Nadal at Wimbledon- Guy, your countrymen don't by any chance play cricket...?
