Finished the scenic base and acquired the supporting cast for one of the new WB's Shermans.
Brushed on a couple of ink washes to give the Sherman a slight sheen and bring out the fine details.
Hudson & Allen red brick wall and Woodland Scenics ground cover.
The whole scene comes to life with WB's GI's. The figures express a lot of action and work beautifully together to tell the story.

Very nice Ken. Looks like you're having some fun today too. Do all your figures shown have the 9th Armor Division patch on their left shoulder or just the 4 figures described by WB as Armor Infantrymen?

Superb. Good for Hudson & Allen. WB is back as a competitor! We think that's good news.

They do not all have an Armor Division patch, so I guess this is a mixed unit action.
Great figures, looking forward to more American GI releases.

Excellent work, Dragoon! A dramatic and intense scene for sure and one can only guess what the US infantry is going after on the other side!

A big thank you to you, Tristan. - It was seeing all your posts of the excellent WWII vignette/dioramas you've been creating which got me wanting to do something similar. It's a lot of fun and adds another element to this hobby of collecting miniatures. - Ken

Thanks Ken 😃

Glad my work helped inspire yours! It’s kind of fun to see the vignette idea catch on… I always went that route, as opposed to a large layout, because it provided a fun way to show off a vehicle in a dynamic scene while not taking up a ton of space. Keep up the great work on your end!
