Breed’s Hill (1 Viewer)

I was hoping someone would make a display with all of those great figures. Yours is fantastic. Kudos!

The best diorama i've seen on the forum for quite some time. Can't beat massed battle scenes. Greg.

Wow!! Very nice display and well staged in all respects. I love how you incorporated several of JJ's past ranges into the scene. Everything blends together so well. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Whenever I sign back into the website, I keep finding myself going straight to this page as I admire not only the setup and colorful display but it brings back memories of when I was a little kid again with my kid brother. When my brother and I were kids, we would line up all the shoes from our closet and use them as fortification as we prepared for battle against one another. We would line up our soldiers in positions on top the shoes, on the sides of shoes and any location where we could engage each other in combat.

This was back in the late sixties and we had these very cool toy plastic guns that mimicked the Star Trek phaser of the day. I don't know who among you remembers these toy guns but they discharged these colorful cool little plastic discs with enough force to knock down our toy soldiers. We would battle for hours on end and shoot at those toy soldier until not one soldier was left standing. And then we would set them back up and battle again. My God that was fun for us! Thank you for bringing back the memories!

I remember those guns quite well! Not only did we shoot them at our plastic toy soldiers (and each other), we would build firecrackers into the tank models we built (my favorite models were Bandai 1:48 scale WWII vehicles, artillery pieces and figures) and light the fuses when one of the models was hit with one of the discs. Good memories indeed!

Thank you all for the kind words on the display. Unfortunately the display was temporary. I don’t have a lot of space and could only borrow the dining room table for a short period of time. Attached are some broader pictures of it. Lots of fun putting it together.

Yes, display space, an issue for nearly all of us, especially if you want to lay out a huge diorama as you have here.
Still you've managed it even as you say it is but temporary and have the photos of your huge Wow factor display, so we'll done you, and I'm sure you will have further opportunities and may even do other battles as time goes on.
Congratulations with the display that so many of us admire and well done and thank you so much for sharing your photos with us. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Wow, it’s great to the breadth and depth of your creation…I’m not sure my wife will give me time on the dining room table-lol (but no harm in asking)

Again I say "Wow"! To see the display in its full grandeur is quite striking! Too bad you cannot make it a permanent display.

The broader pics show all the more how well you staged everything. I'm sure you've portrayed a very close account of the real event.

Great job!!!

BTW....Any chance of you posting come pics of that display case seen off to the right? Looks like you have a collection of figures in there.......
