I just found this set on ebay, "Stonewall Brigade - Advancing Over Stonewall 17825" I have never seen it before, and I thought I had every ACW release. The certificate says it was made for the collectors club in 2006. I have looked through every catalog and searched the internet. The only referance to the set I could find was on a Russian TS site. Any one else have one ?

Hi Paul

I managed to get hold of two 17825 sets when they were released in 2006. If I remember correctly UK members were restricted to purchasing two sets only.

As the figures are baseless I found them to be very adaptable for using in a variety of diorama settings and just recently I featured them in my Emmitsburg Road scenario by adding them to the new WB fence sets and climbers. In this shot one of the 17825 figures is shown on the far left of the picture atop the fence.

Both figures from the second set that I purchased I have since converted/repainted to differentiate them from the originals. One of the conversions I used in this scene- depicting a "spotter" for Jackson at Sharpsburg. I first removed his hand and musket, remoulded his right arm into a climbing support pose and then gave him a quick mini repaint.

Well done on grabbing one of these sets off of ebay as personally I have never seen a single one available from any of the many dealers I know this side of the pond.

I picked up a set back in 2006 too. It is one of the best Collector's Club sets that has been offered in the last 10 years, in my opinion. I would like to see more CC sets of this type in the future.
