Hello All
Sierra Toy Soldier Company will be hosting a Britains Event with Richard Walker on Saturday starting at 10:00 if you are in the area or want to travel to Los Gatos to see him do so.
It should be a fun day.

Any news from the Britains event at Sierra Toy Soldiers last weekend with Richard. My understanding was that there might be some new figures shown from the upcoming releases and even the announcement of a new line?
Some comments or pictures would be much appreciated!
Konrad

Hello all
The Britain's Event was a huge success only it went by to fast we had about 40 to 50 people come in to meet Richard ages 9 and up including a collector who has been collecting Britains for 70+ years and still has his first figure in mint condition!!!! Richard Walker seemed to have a lot of fun people came in with many ideas questions and 1 or 2 complaints for example when is the farm house coming out. Well that will be out in the later part of this year. He brought a lot of new figures to show and the not yet released catalog for the second part of the year.
So what new is coming out?
New Napoleonic connoisseur figure
New Line of British Elite Forces including Falkland Island war and SAS soldier Ask Panzer Ace what he thought of these
New modern Museum Collection of Black Watch
More Napoleonic's Civil War Red Coats Blue Coats Archive collection and the Farmhouse.

It was a great event enjoyed by all.
Thank you very much for coming out Richard and sharing your knowledge insight ideas and of course your humor to all

Andrew Hall and the rest of the Sierra Team

Hi Southbaytoys,

Thanks for the wonderful photos! It appears the event was a great success.

One of your pictures includes the Delhi Durbar elephant set that is soon to be released. Can you tell me what the figures are that stand to the right of the elephant in the picture? Are these figures some of the additional Durbar figures that are to be released this summer? If so, what are the specific Durbar sets appearing in the photo? One of them appears to be a begger or a seller of some sort.

Thanks again for posting such great photos!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

The picture for this is really grainy because it is cropped from another picture so to give you an idea here it is.

Are those Zulu War figures I spot on the table? I cant really tell. Did Richard say when the supplement catalog would be out? Also any picture of the Napoleonic connoisseur figure? Sounds like it was a wonderful event. I met Richard in Gettysburg for the first time he is really a nice guy.

They sure are.and saving my comments on them for later......The Lt.

Probably a 24th in shirtsleeves and a new Drift character? You know which one? But there must be more than these samples. I hope we will see some dead people as well in the near future.

Is the other guy (hat) FLH or other irregulars?

I hope the SAS figure is from operation Nimrod. That would be too cool.

Thanks for the photos Andrew.

The new AZW figures look nice from what I can see along with the new Durbar additions and one not shown in the catalogue.

Looks like we'll have two 24th Foot in shirt sleeves along with a member of the Commissariat and Transportation Department and a member of the Natal Native Contingent from what I see in the photos. Future comments to follow.......The Lt.

Thanks for the photos... I wouldn't mind some close-ups... those catalogs always seem to be ions apart... Is it just me or does anybody else here believe that Britains Zulu War range is one of their best ever! It has to be one of their most popular current ranges!
