Britains schwimwagen? (2 Viewers)

You've obviously missed the point. Assured sources of supply is basic. It's what drives supply decisions. It's as simple as that.

No I get it, I just don't let it bother me. Perhaps I am used to it with my other hobbies (model railways). Product announcement can take 2, 3 or more years to materialize. It isn't life or death and there are other things to collect and occupy my time with :0)

It doesn't particularly bother me either but I can't think WB retailers are too happy.

The windscreen is in a fixed position . . . also, the set comes with an extra sterring wheel which allows you to remove the driver replacing him with the spare steering wheel in case you wanted to display the schimmwagen without a crew

Thanks - interesting about the steering wheel choices - certainly increases display opportunities.

Thanks for the review Mile, I like the idea of having the vehicle in a diorama with or without the driver and passenger. Opens up to more diorama uses for the vehicle. I hope more manufacturers follow Britains lead with this feature.

Mike, thanks for the information, well thunder in the outhouse, it looks like the future is looking up for the ACW line from WB. All of it sounds good, I am particularly interested in the limbers of course and the mounted/dismounted officers and aides, I will need them for an upcoming series of dioramas which will start with my next one. I would also like the civilians, I have been waiting for them to do a diorama on the Sanitary Commission. Hopefully I can come to the symposium next year. Chris

Three Fallschirmjagers "dropped" to my mailbox this afternoon, 50068C, 25038, and 25039 . . . . All three look very nice with the Schimmwagen . . . .
