British 22nd regiment from the AWI (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know what the status of this release is? It was announced a while ago, I think early in 2012, but to my knowledge there has been no further news on it. This range has been sitting on the workbench while the Hazlet Delaware regiment came out. It seemed like the DE troops were sort of sprung on us (a nice surprise indeed) but one would have thought that the next release for the AWI would have been this 22nd regiment that we've been waiting for.

I have been waiting and waiting to get that mounted Cornwallis figure and his dogs. Anyone have any news???

I wish I knew Mark . . . . I have also been waiting patiently for this release. Unfortuneately everytime I hear something about the 22nd is that it has been delayed again. Perhaps the war ended and they went back to England . . .

I imagine we will see these this year. They have been on the workbench for about 18 months, but there have been some issues with production. Hence the reason they were bumped last year for the Delawares in the producation cycle.

Still, it will be nice to see them done and ready for preorder. I wonder if Cornwallis will be the only personality we see....

Thanks Mike & Noah. If nothing else, I'm just glad it wasn't me missing something. I can't imagine what the hold up could be as First Legion seems to put out new releases quite regularly while issuing new ranges at the same time! All I know is that it will be well worth the wait once these guys get released.
