Nice scene Wayne! Illustrates the allied doctrine that tanks don't fight tanks, tank destroyers fight tanks. I wish someone had explained that to the Nazis!
Excellent post Wayne and succinct accurate analysis from Louis. Buick cranked out 2500 copies of the Hellcat. Once the US ordnance folks could get HVAP ammunition to the teams late 1944 and doctrine refined to quick agile thrusts the Germans were clueless and had their hands full against these agile terriers.
