Bungle In The Jungle...Middle East Desert Style... (1 Viewer)

By the way you will really like the saracens mounted on camels when you add them to your display. Arguably the best K&C figures!

Mike,

I think you've given him an identity that's easy to recognize.

I expect Andy will get a kick out of it.

Brad...I hope so...I grew up with Captain America...and the figure really makes me think of him...I admire K&C's work and was just goofing around...he's a little over the edge...but I like him...

Beautiful pictures of your Crusader series figures Michael:salute:::salute::

Cheers

Martyn:)

thank you Martyn...

Michael me Texas lad . . . you have been a busy man once again. Very colorful display. Your buildings are excellent and I really like how you made the wall look so old and in partial ruin. Just a great looking dio . . . . It must have been fun covering up all the bases . . .
:smile2: Mike

Mike...thanks for the compliment on the buildings...yes...it was a lot of fun covering the bases...I can't tell you how many times an already covered figure got bumped and had to be re-done...dang those long spears and flags...^&grin

Very nice dio great job gota like the Knights !

thank you Panzer...

Excellent set up...I especially like the multiple use poses of the "ladder" fellows using their skills to climb over the wall. Very creative

Walt Damon

thank you Walt...it was either that or have them scaling the ladder up to a roof top...either way would have worked...

What I like about the crusaders and your diorama really shows it well is that every figure released is different. There are no massed ranks of soldiers with the same pose. Each is unique and so colourful.

Your figures are well displayed. Love the buildings you've made and I think you under-sell your creativity in making them. I haven't got my crusaders on display so I greatly appreciate you and others who post their crusader dioramas.

Breslau...thanks for the compliment...and you are right...the poses are unique and diversified...not a lot of "dollying" with arms and legs...

Breslau...I have the MK-078 "Ambush Vignette" coming Monday along with two of the mounted Saracens...MK-079 and MK-080...I want to do a mounted scene and will wait for them...

Scott...I'm not sure which building you are referring to...but I made all of them...I had a phobia about working with foam til Mike (Modwalls) helped me get past it...I'm sure glad he did...I made some decent structures for pennies...

Wow Scott...I'm impressed...you have a good memory...I got tired of the brownish structures so I made a couple 3 of the sandish colored ones...

the order they were made...was the ones you are referring to are the last or newest...

the one on the far left is just a tall wall section ...but it makes a good backdrop...

the one on the far right is my "Starbuck's Mosque"...hahaha...notice the arched brick over the windows...that's the back of it in the photo you marked...

I have two Saracens mounted on camels and the "Ambush Vignette" coming Monday...I'm just waiting on them....

currently...the mounted Knights far outnumber the mounted Saracens...it wouldn't be a fair fight til reinforcements arrive...unless I threw in a few Saracen foot soldiers...

I was just looking at his series...and am amazed at how many of them are retired...

I am so glad I'm not playing catch up...

Outstanding !!! You also highlighted my biggest regret on this line...I totally missed out on the ladder/figure set and you've made great use of them in this dio.
Can't wait to see more.
