Since Andy is releasing serveral version of the same:

-landing craft
-hurrica

I could use a second tank for Cambrai with a different number.
Would love that

Cambrai was made by Figarti.

Talking about this one:

Code: FW049
Name: British Mark. IV Heavy Tank
Desc.: A superb model of the most produced tank of the Great War. Armed with both cannon and machine guns this metal monster terrified the enemy and provided much needed close fire support for the "PBI"... the "Poor Bloody Infantry". Our K&C model is in the markings of "Cavalier" one of "C" Squadrons vehicles of the newly formed Royal Tank Regiment.

How about a version of the Mk.4 that no one has done and that plenty of photographic evidence exsists of? A destroyed version. -- lancer

How about the 8th army crusader tank with different markings? the classic sherman with british markings?

Craig

As there were 460 tanks at that battle of Camrai K&C could go to the trouble of making another tank, but a different version of the Mk 4

It would be a easy conversion to either a Male or Female tank with the appropriate number of guns or machine guns on the different type of sponson.

When in Canberra in July, Andy Neilson had a good look into the Mark 4 tank that was in storage at the Australian War Memorial Annex, where this particular tank had its left spponson removed and we could all look inside and see the cramped working conditions for the crew, as well as seeing the motor and driving controls.

I don't know what's worse.... being in the tank or in the trenches ??????

I would say tank. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the life expectancy of a tankist was shorter than a front line infantaryman. Despite this, there was never a shortage of volunteers for the Tank Corps.

Don't ONWTC make a British tank?
Mark
Yes, they do. They also make a captured version of the British tank, an A7V German tank, and 2 versions of the R-17. All are nice models. I do not know how the ONWTC British tank and the KC British tank compare in size to each other. -- lancer

Hi Lancer,

There was an earlier post on the K&C thread from Maddadicus with a photo comparison of the ONTC Mk IV and the K&C version. They look like they're reasonably compatible.

Thanks for the reminder. I do remember that, now. You are right. The 2 tanks look real close in size and look to be fine together. Still don't know about mixing ONWTC and KC WW1 figures, though. -- lancer

The figures do not mix well. The colors on the King and Country ones are brighter and the figures seem to be more filled out, more detailed.

There used to be a battle field picture from KC with this tank. Who can re-post it?

Would it not be a good idea not to put a turret or tank number on the vehicle but provide a set of decals with different turret/tank numbers with every tank they produce ?
That's what I would suggest to K& C
Guy:)

OK for those with the skills mate I collect this cause I have zero modelling skills so I say not for me.
