Hi, Tom, I'll have a look in O'Brien when I get home from work. Someone may be able to ID them before then, of course, but I'll see if there are any photos of these.

Prost!

I had a look in O'Brien's 2nd edition, in the chapter on Marx. Marx did put out a series of Historical Chinese Warriors. Your first figure bears a stylistic resemblance to those figures, though I do not think it is of that series. Those figures each had weapons and were posed more dynamically. Also, they were issued with a small, round pedestal base, under the molded base cast with the figure.

I haven't found anything yet like the camera crew, and I'll defer to Scott's suggestion, till I can check through the rest of my references.

Prost!

There was an Aurora TV crew at one time. I don't recall them being painted.

The first figure.... Marx did a line of nursery rhyme / fairy tale figurines in that odd style of translucent ivory hard plastic and sprayed paint. I've got a few, and have seen them in antique malls for a couple of bucks each. They look like they were intended as decorative items rather than toys. I can't find anything on the net about them after a quick look, and there's nothing in the O'Brien editions I've got.
