Brother and sister Frank and Alice Simpson, natives of the growing city of Canberra, Australia, are serving their country as medical personnel caring for Aussie soldiers wounded in Gallipoli and sent back to Egypt for care and treatment. Prior to the outbreak of World War I, Alice was a hospital nurse in Canberra while her university student brother hoped to follow in their father's footsteps and become a physician.

Randy,

brilliant photo of the WETS figures, posed in Egypt.

The gals did a great job there, and on the island of Lemnos, just off the coast from Gallipoli to nurse the wounded during that campaign.

Well done...

John

PS I'm off the Canberra next weekend, so will pay my repects to our fallen at the War Memorial and then spend a few hours revisiting the wonderful museum there.
