I am sure there is more to come soon.

Does anyone know what were the last MG figures to retired ? Andy, was retiring a few at a time - just want to keep track.

I think this may be the first instance where your reply was not along the lines of: 'I beleve Andy said the line was retiring!'' lol! ^&grin

I'm not sure mate, I'll have a look and check!:wink2:

How about some ideas of what people would like to see going forward with the Arnhem line. I also look forward with great expectation to the next wave of releases.

Would like to take this opportunity to resurrect, for consideration, some possible future “Market Garden” series sets from a candidate list I posted before the “last drop”.

Paratrooper just landed, pulling in his chute
Opening a CLE Container or Wicker Pannier
75mm M1A1 Pack Howitzer with crew (Again already done in Arnhem ’44 Series AN 004), but using the correct scale pack howitzer from the Battle of the Bulge set BBA09
Firing 2in MK VIII Mortar
Throwing a No.82 (Gammon Bomb) grenade
Airborne Trolley with Crew (2)

If personality figures are a possible consideration:
LCOL John Frost, CO, 2 Para Bn (Already done as Arnhem ’44 Series (AN014)
Major Dickie Lonsdale, Lonsdale Force
Lt Jack Greyburn, VC
Maj Robert H. Cain, VC
LSgt J.D. Baskeyfield, VC
Capt Lionel E. Queripel, VC
Mrs Kate ter Horst
War Correspondent Stanley Maxted reporting to BBC (Classic photograph with recording equipment)

I have also seen mentioned elsewhere in this forum someone's wish for a 17 Pounder Anti-Tank Gun. It would be a major endeavor from the standpoint of research, complexity, size, and resultant cost both in development and final retail price. If any remaining copyrights could be favorably resolved a significant R&D cost savings could be realized by using the AIRFIX 1:32 scale, highly detailed plastic model of the gun (0-6361-0). It was produced in 1980 with a crew of six gunners and rounds of ammunition . It is a magnificent model and retailed for 3 Pds!!

I'd like to see some more Dead and wounded for both sides, I think this adds real realism to a scene and would be very welcome.

I assume you mean model figures. ^&grin I didn't realize you were so bloodthirsty. ^&grin

I would think the 17ILB would be rather simple to be made its certainly no bigger than any of the german guns made to date including the Flak 41 it was not a very detailed complex gun that would make it somehow to complex for a manufacturer to make and IMO would be less expensive than the german guns.

Where K&C will go with the range is a guess personality figures are possibly, the only given, more jeeps possibly, ambulance in nature and more combat troops would all be expected. Its a bit more open than the previous releases IMO as its titled Market Garden not Arnhem so, could cover a multitude of areas easily.

Look forward to seeing in the near future what will come

Cannot wait for MG releases either! They are always a highlight in my collecting year. I still haven't managed to pick up the last set of releases yet, I did however pick up the Polish para's so I'm getting there. Sadly I think any new releases are far off, maybe late summer at best. I too am wondering where this series will go as it's named MG not Arnhem so perhaps XXX corps, SS and U.S. para's. The possibilities are endless and exciting. :D

Hoping there be some new stuff for the London show ^&confuse
