I recently got the new K&C repaint of the P-51B in Don Gentile’s livery... They did a nice job on it! I’ve got mine displayed in a little vignette inspired by some of K&C’s promo photos for this model. Enjoy!

great diorama, I especially love the picture with the gathering of pilots
Guy:)

Great diorama there! How do you think the K&C Mustang compares to the one recently produced by JJD?

Personally, I think the K&C P-51 gets the fuselage shape and the wing dihedral a bit better than the JJD model. The riveting is also toned down, giving the K&C model a smoother finish. It also has more realistic and subtle weathering. However, JJD model wins out on overall detail and functionality. That model can be displayed in flight with the landing gear up and it’s cockpit canopy opens, increasing the number of display options.

Here’s a couple pics of each plane at similar angles for comparison... I need to do a more proper side-by-side shot.
