Captain, do you long for service with the regiment? (1 Viewer)

Nice vignette you have created and photographed Moe . . . . .

Really fantastic little dio and well chosen background. And I actually had to look a second time before I was convinced the lancers weren't a JJD set I had forgotten all about :)

Very nice, Moe. I really like the way you have illustrated the new (aircraft) replacing the old (cavalry) in terms of the job to be done. But not to worry, as any military man worth his salt knows that the aeroplane is no good for anything but sport. -- Al

another beaut Moe...

especially like the back drop and your excellent photography skills...

Nicely staged Moe, with the new technology and modern warfare and the old. Chris

Hi Catul, WB has quietly become my number 3 source of toy pilots. I also collect the J&L range and assorted WWI, not to mention occassional odds and ends. Of course, it doesn't hurt that the sets are so reasonably priced!:)

Thanks Al, it's perhaps one of the hooks of flying that you can always get better at it. As a pastime, I suppose it's not unlike riding in that respect. You may "look good" the whole while, but not even a machine can measure the subtleties of the aircraft better than the fella with "the reins" in his hands.;)

One of these days, I'm gonna have to spring for a new stage!{sm2} For the moment, however, this setup offers a lot of display real-estate and a nice "Northern European" look. As always, thank you for the patience and generosity that you extend to myself and others.:)
