Here’s a ‘something’ for the weekend... This shows a little set of three surrendering German officers which are part of the ‘LIBERATION ‘44’ sub range of D.Day figures.



To set up the scene I’ve included our shot-up Citroen Staff Car alongwith a couple of the upcoming D.Day ‘Tommies’.

A very useful group for both the Western and Eastern fronts, which I think I'll be adding to my collection when they're released.

A similar group of captured Resistance figures would be useful too Andy, for the time leading up to Liberation, and ditto for Eastern front with captured Partisans.

These are all winning releases indeed. Lots of drama and realism in these figures. 2021 is shaping up good for D day and its sub range . Thanks for posting Andy

I have not had my password frozen yet, at my request, but good for me as i get the chance to ask are these British troops the one with the alternative 'inland' base as they look darker than the first few shown? Uniforms look good, like the dirty realistic knees. These will be finding their way to my collection, would be good to know how many individual new British troops there will be? Does anyone know? Hopefully enough for a couple of sections, as some figures can be used in multiples. The Germans look great, they have that surprised look at being capture, almost disgusted at how dare you capture me, the guy in the middle of the top picture, he looks so p***ed **f and will look equally as good with the new Resistance fighters. He looks like he has had his dinner interrupted. The wounded officer, is he looks like a 'staff officer', just not sure. I wonder if the Tommie’s are looking for a souvenir Luger or a nice new German watch.
