Dear Nancy and Carlos,

Great to hear from you. We missed you last week and I hope the injuries are mending as best as they can.

Get well soon buds and see you later this year.

Get well Carlos. It sounds as though you are on the mend. By the way what car were you driving? It has obvioulsy proved that it has some good safety features.

Just wondering how Carlos is doing. Are you there bud, with laptop perched on your hospital bed? Hoping your recovery is going smoothly.

All the best,
Simon

Nancy,
Thanks for taking the time to post considering all you and Carlos are dealing with at the present time.

Take it slow and easy Carlos, you've got six months to get ready for OTSN, the show would not be the same without you guys.........

Thank you for posting the update! That wreckage is really horrifying.

Hello - This is Nancy Codina

Carlos wanted me to post an update of his recovery and thank everyone again for your good wishes.

He has just begun the hard work of physical and occupational therapy at the hospital's rehabilitation wing. This includes 3 one-hour sessions per day. While progress is slow, it is also encouraging to see the "light at the end of the tunnel" and to know that he'll be able to handle coming home soon. (The target date right now to return home is April 2)

As you might imagine, Carlos is motivated and the therapists are frequently having to remind him to "slow down!"

Warm regards,
Nancy

Nancy, thanks for posting.I very glad to hear Carlos is on the mend, please pass on best wishes from everyone on this forum for a speedy recovery. Thanks again

Rob

Nancy,

Thanks for the update. Please give my best to him and we hope he'll be running around soon. I imagine he'll have quite a crowd of well wishers around him in Chicago:)

Best,

It's nice hearing that a target dates been set for his return home but it wouldn't surpise me if he beats which I've do doubt he's trying to. Thank you Nancy for keeping us posted and give my best to Carlos and tell him I miss being bored by his photos:):):).....Joe (aka.) The Lt.

Nancy,
Please tell that husband of yours that I do admire great accomplishment he has achieved. To think, he shut down the 710 for hours! Not quite the goal I would have had in mind to make my presences known, but never the less, the 710 FOR HOURS. :p Never mind the fear of death or physical disabilities; never mind the intense fear his family felt when they were informed; never mind the disruptions in peoples lives; just think, the 710 FOR HOURS

Anyway, tell that guy to listen to the experts and follow their direction. All things in moderation. Oh yeah, pass along my thoughts for his quick recovery and to get back to some sort of normal life. :);)

Carlos, Glad to hear you are on the mend. Might be a long haul but it only hurts until the pain goes away! Hope you feel better REAL soon.

Bonsoir Carlos,

My English is too bad to fully express all my feelings though you were in good hands with God on your side that day and still are with Nancy now.

This is a hard time but as you said, you're alive and we all wait impatiently for your total recovery.

Pierre.

Pierre,
Your English is perfect, a terrific post my Canadian friend.

Regards,
George

Everyone,

Thank you very much for all your well wishes and kind words. I’ve been released from the hospital to home care at my house and looking forward to hopefully a full recovery in 3-4 months. I’m likely to off work for the next 6-8 weeks and it’s driving me crazy. LOL

I consider myself the luckiest person in the world to be alive and without any permanent physical disability or any brain damage. God must have a plan for me because it’s obviously wasn’t my time yet. I’m truly blessed and I can’t believe my good fortune.

Again, thank you for all of your well wishes and concern.

Carlos
