Castle Diorama Finished...sort of... (2 Viewers)

Hi Guys, hi Mike,

A huge congratulations to Mike and the beautiful dio he has put together using many of our “Crusaders & Saracens” as well as a few “sprinklings” of “Ancient Egypt” and “Life of Jesus”...

Mike is a regular attendee at our “Texas Show” and I especially look forward to all his displays and dioramas. This is a guy who really knows how to have fun with his collection! Very well done Mike and keep those pix coming in. Best wishes and happy collecting,

Andy

Grande castello!!!
Grande Mike!!!!

thank you Giol...

The colors and action scenes are very eye catching. The castle is beautiful. Outstanding presentation Mike. Chris

Chris...thanks...the vibrant colors were probably what originally drew mw to this series...

Those are superb close up pictures Michael {bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}

Cheers

Martyn:)

Martyn...thank you...I think you and your new camera could have done better...

Amazing !! This has to be the definitive collection of this series Mike. Like the way you have used AE & LOJ to blend in. The castle is outstanding and I particularly like the river effect. The colour is dramatic on mass too. Huge effort here not to mention the expense{eek3}. Great to see and excellent photos.:salute::, Robin.

Robin...thank you...it's nice to finally have a table big enough to consolidate some figures...

Spent the last 10-15 minutes scanning those wonderful photos, just great fun!!! Always thought that this series was one of K&C's best.

Beautiful pairing of the combatting figures and still enough room to get a nice grouping of "civilians" into the scene. Groundwork is outstanding as always. The Castle definitely seems more roomy than in the previous display. The entire display photographs very nicely.

Does the choice in the color of the water remind you of Texas? Or am I reading too much into that!!!

Ken...I have done a half dozen rivers in that murky green...it seems popular...I see Gordon does a lot of his dioramas that color...and you can't go wrong following him...definitely looks like it could use a few chlorine tabs and I wouldn't eat anything out of that water...

Andy...thank you...you created a beautiful series here...all it needs is a decent camera to show it off...looking forward to seeing you in San Antonio next May...you always put on a great show!

Mike, With your castle finished off and all of the figures added I too am glad you kept the Castle. It really does look super in your home !

Wow great set-up! Really impressive. I like the way you used figures from other ranges like the Life of Jesus and the Egyptians as part of the story as civilians in the time of the Crusades.
