Chancellorsville; Jackson's flank attack, May 2nd, 1863.................. (1 Viewer)

George, not to add any pressure, but I also vote for Franklin. Would love to see it in a grand scale. Same with any Western Battle, would love to see any of them in grand scale. Chris

Chris,
Understood, I need to study the terrain and the features as well as come up with a way to replicate the Union earthworks.

The only other issue I have is lack of Western Theater "Hardee" Confederate flags...................will see what I can do about that................

Thank you George, I would send you some of my Hardee flags except the scale is off. Saw that you have enough figures to have full sized regiments and brigades, that is impressive. I have about 600+ figures for my dioramas and enough figures for 2 batteries of artillery. The sides in my collection are also pretty even at about 50% Federal and 50% Confederate. Keep up the good work and I look forward to your next diorama regardless of the subject. Chris

Thanks for the offer Chris; I have a flag guy and I reached out to him to see what he can do. He owns a company called The Flag Dude, caters to wargamers, but does large scale flags too, most of my ACW and Napoleonic flags are from him, he makes the best flags IMO.

I kind of went a bit crazy with ACW, I could never get all 6,000 figures into a diorama, but what can I say. I have 48 cannons/192 crewmen. I'm short on limbers, that's for sure, I only have two Confederate limbers...................:(.....................I really enjoyed buying all the figures I did, so I've got no regrets. It's what makes the hobby fun.

600 1/32nd scale figures is a lot of figures, that's an impressive collection for sure, hope to see you put them into another great display of yours very soon................enjoy your summer.................

George

West or East-your grand scale dios of famous ACW battles are always awe inspiring and accurate to the nth degree. Simply spellbinding to view from this side of the pond
