There is no truth in the rumour that this was taken from Warriors table at a toy soldier show !^&grin
I dont care what anyone says, Smokey & The Bandit series are still some of our favorite family movies and we laugh our proverbial *** off every time we watch them. Truth be told, backstory, Jackie Gleason put a lot of humor in these to actually poke fun at how ridiculous racism was. In part 2 they make fun of the Klan, etc. Yes those were happier times when sensitivities were different. I saw an interview with Gleason years later on those movies. Mean Joe Greene actually collaborated on the scene where he flipped over the car and Gleason referenced busing. Today, that would not appear for fear of offending. Alas, tis a shame that a 40 year old movie would cause anyone grief. Context, context.

If I had a dollar for every time someone mentioned those "Please do not touch" signs, I could retire from the toy soldier business.................:wink2:
A lot of good they do, figures still got clipped left, right and center at shows.
With this COVID ****show in full bloom, I spend an entire weekend packing all my show figure inventory back into the original boxes; when I was done, it was staggering how many ****ing empty boxes I had left over with no figure to go into the box.
Must have been all those times my show helper Larry took his four hour coffee break.............................^&grin
Mate, that totally sucks hearing about slim-balls lifting ya stock at shows......must be so frustrating?!
Thanks....................never thought in a million years it would happen, but there you go.
If I had to sum it up in a word, my word would be disappointing.
