Charles Biggs Premier Series (2 Viewers)

If you want glossy ACW, I strongly recommend the work of Ted Deddens at www.tedtoy.com/. He sculpts, casts and paints all his figures. A great feature of Ted's work is that each figure in a five figure set has a different sculpted head. He will be at the Chicago Show.:)

I do make my own too. Ted does make some nice stuff. I am going to get the Officer and Lady set.:D Would be nice to see Britains made where they are originally from.

This has to be my favorite series ever produced by WBritains,
I have quiet a few of the models that was released by them, The earlier being the better ones (8910-8940) & i have a couple of the ones released by Charles Biggs on his own, I was wondering if anybody knows the compleate list of models he made after he left britains (9800 onwards)? As I keep stumbling onto new ones!!! I was also wondering if this is the last we will ever see of the Series or if WBritain in its new incarnation will ever return to it?

& finally a special I picked up earlier this year that was originaly made for guest who attended the chicago show in 98

Great collection. I also like the Premier Series very much and have some sets. Tell me, are the Brits marching in soft hats from Fusilier Miniatures?

Cheers,
Paulo

Thank you i just wish they still made them :( As for the marching set there from THE BRITISH TOY SOLDIER COMPANY they originally started out making just ceremonial models & then they later diversified into WW1 which there doing quite well i must say iv got a few more off there models i will have to dig them out & photograph them

Nice collection , I,m a big fan of the premier stuff .
At one point I had a fair amount of it but gradualy
sold a few pieces of when they stopped releasing it.
I used to have a list of %99 of the range but lost it
when our laptop died .
It would have been great if britains had continued with this line.

yes its a shame they stoped it when 1st gear took over, they would of made it a far superior series if the redcoats is anything to go on!!! these to models are great never seen ether before!! looks like more for me to look out for now :D

Great photos of quite a comprehensive collection! My dad and I also own several of Bigg's sets and I too would be interested in a complete list of every set made after he left W. Britains.

Hi Paulo

Sorry I dont know where you can get them ,I picked up most of my premier stuff aprox 4 years back when it was still available in small quantity,s from
some stores .[and lots on ebay]
The Royal marine Brigade came from London Bridge toys in the states ,it
might be worth taking a long shot and emailing them about premier stuff as
a lot was not listed on their site incl that set when I bought it.

cheers Rob
