Just shows you that if something is rare, it will do very well. I believe the 07 figure was the first; it's also the best in my opinion. Didn't really care for the last one in my opinion (although it's not going anywhere). I think they started doing this at the Westcoaster in 08 with the tanker holding the jerry can, painted in DAK colors, skipped the last one (Napoleonic) and the most recent one is ok but doesn't blow me (again, it's not going anywhere).

Wouldn't it be cheaper to just go to Chicago each year, bring the wife and both attend the K&C dinner Maybe not

When my wife would come with me to Chicago I thought about her having to attend these dinners just to get the the extra figure, but something inside me said it just wasn,t right.

Of course it isn't right. Besides, how do you tell her she's there only so you can get an extra figure to sell.

I would have no problem telling her why I wanted her to attend the dinner for the figure, but then when I sold her figure she would want the profits!
Seriously my wife made every trip to Chicago until last year, about 18 in all and the closest she got to the show or room trading was waiting for me in the lobby of the Hyatt.
I envy those guys wives that attends and roams the halls of the hotel with their husbands showing interest in the hobby, even tho they may be fakeing it. My wife flat out says I don,t want to do it I,ll shop at all the stores in the area.
