We are getting a huge response from dealers and it the show will be a sellout.
We will have a ballroom with about 125 tables.
A second ballroom tent with 70 tables (heat and A/C and covered walkway.)
and a hallway with about 50 tables.

I will also have 2 smaller meeting rooms on the lower level if needed. We will be using these during the week for events.

We have already booked over 400 room night and have added more to the block of rooms.

That’s good news. For the rooms, do you have a breakdown of dealers vs collectors.

This is very good news, I am looking forward to a great show.

The Treefrog Crew will be there supporting Matt!!!

Looking forward to seeing everyone in person once again!

We filled the block up again and we have about 500 room nights booked! More rooms have been added!

Several Brits said the applied for Visas to come over when I was the London Show!

How many rooms in total?

Planning to go to the show the first time. Is it safe to travel to Chicago? I heard about the law and order situation there. Thanks

OK, but what about downtown Chicago?

Where do you plan to go? The downtown area, from what I’ve read, is generally safe. I can’t speak to this Show because it will probably be a smaller show than past shows but when I was at the Show I found I had little time for getting downtown.

My son is currently an intern in Downtown Chicago with an apartment near Lollapalooza field (right off the loop and Michigan). Basically nice area. I just recently visited staying at the LaSalle (JW Marriott). Had no issues and we were out at all hours. Yes, lots of police presence in these nicer neighborhoods deters the criminal element. Did we still see some nogoodnicks, yes, same as most major troubled cities. The cities are what they are, but if you stick to major tourist or financial areas OR expensive neighborhoods, you are fine there. I recommend Harry Carray Italian Restuarant (IT is in Frank Nitti's former bldg, lots of mob stuff, really cool), Hub51 (great restaurant) and the The Exchecquer (Pub that was former Capone Speakeasy and they have a unique deep dish). Of course you can get Lou Malinottis and Portillos in Schaumburg too!

Any trip to Chicago needs to — must — include a trip to Lou Malnati’s.

Chicago is fine, I am in Chicago all the time. The Museum of Science and Industry has the U-505 U-boat exhibit which is an excellent visit, also the 1st Division museum.

Home Run Inn Pizza is the best. I grew up a few streets away from the original location.

That is the only thing I still want to see in Chicago that I have not done (Other than a Prohibition Tour, waiting til Logan is full 21 for real!).

I have to get to that museum at some point, nuts that I have not seen it.

We had the U.S.S. Swordfish sub and a PT-boat @ Navy Pier that Dad & I toured but we sold it to some city that is now wealthier. Still, it's a great exhibit!
