Spent the weekend at the 150th Battle of Chickamauga reenactment and NPS battlefield. Came across this dio in the visitor's center. Hope to post some more pics in the next couple of days. Chris

 
I always enjoy seeing toy soldier dios at national parks. :)
 
I believe that is one Ken Osen did when he and Richard Walker were on tour of the main Civil War battlefields for Britains. I have seen them at other parks but each one is different.

Except for what General Thomas did in the rear guard! But it was a resounding beat down for the Union.

Yeah, Rosecrans opens a hole in the Union line big enough to drive a whole corps thru and Bragg still can't "clinch the deal."
 
Bragg had a way of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.{sm4}
