See photos, they came direct from Hong Kong Circa 2008, limited to 50 sets, this is #11. Very nice.

thanks

Tom,

Those are cool...but what is super cool is K&C's version of the PLA marchers. I have never seen any of those sets...ever. Now lets get something straight, if they popped up I would not be in a rush to to buying them or anything cause they don't do anything for me, live or in miniature. I watched a documentary about those "rah rah" marches in China, that the soldiers have some sort of pole that runs through the back of their uniforms to keep em straight. So, they look and march real pretty but...

...if you want to see some real dress right dress marching watch the TEXAS A&M marching band performing! There are no poles in the back of their uniforms and they can certainly put any PLA out fit to shame. So, yeah they are cool, but I would rather have a set of the Aggie band than the PLA and that says a lot as I am a Longhorn.

My understanding is these were a limited run for the Hong Kong HIstory Museum Store. I have always wondered who really made them as I don't think Regiment is a Company, my bet is a "private label" for the Museum.

REGIMENT was a Hong Kong maker who also produced some British Guardsmen in the early 2000's

I was lucky enough to be given 2 of those Brit sets, but the company didn't last very long, so these sets are no longer available.

I hope that helps,

Thanks John! I always wondered as their boxes and cards were very similar to a lot of the makers, elements of all made in Hong Kong. Good information, these I really think are well done and they go with K&C really well.
