K&C has posted the latest issue of Collector on their website. Take a look there are a number of new items and what looks like a new series being announced on the rear cover.

Thanks for that 'intel' Brendan, yes, there are some new sets there and I'm sure many collectors will be filling n their 'wish lists' for next year too :)

Yes I see Andy is venturing onto "A Hill in Korea". A great British 1956 film full of well known actors of the time and those who careers were only just beginning. e.g. Michael Caine, a theme I would of been all over, but looks like Andy's attention is elsewhere in time and place in Korea at present. Just as well for me really with so many manufacturers releasing so many great offerings, still some excellent future Vietnam releases both US and Aussie.

YES!!! Korean War figures. I was stationed there with the US Army 2nd Engineers in 1997-1999. Had a great time. Great serving in the 2nd Infantry Division. To this day, the 2nd Engineers burn their battalion colors on November 30th in honor of the battalion commander ordering the colors burned before they were overrun in Kunuri to prevent them being captured as a war trophy.

Excited to see the Marine Poncho figures and hoping to see plenty of winter uniformed Army, Marines, South Koreans, Chinese "Volunteers", and North Koreans in the near future.

Great looking Christmas Collector. Can't wait to get my hands on a hard copy. The back cover was a shock to the system but a very nice one. Korea, Yes bring it on. So many countries involved in that War. I have a couple of fantastic books on the Battle of Kapyong, 23-24th April, 1951. This involved the 27th Commonwealth Brigade made up of the 3rd Battalion RAR, the 2nd Princess Patricia"s Canadian Light Infantry, the 1st Middlesex Battalion and the 16th Field Regiment (NZ Artillery) supported by 3 Platoons of A Comapny 72nd Tank Battalion, U.S. Army (Shermans). Now there is a huge range of figures, guns and tanks to wet the appetite.

Lets not forget the mighty Centurion Tank Mk.1 cut its teeth in this "Police Action".

Glad you mentioned Artillery support Howard, the RNZA use 25 Pounders, and as K&C has already made this gun, a fine piece of workmanship if can say-so myself, all Andy need to do is add the gunners in a suitable uniform of the day ...

It feels like I have been collecting forever with my likes and dislikes always changing in-between.

With that said, no matter what my preferences have been I always look forward to the K&C Christmas Collector.

Howard - you are so correct. So many countries that fought. Would make many great figures.
