Civil War Battlefields (1 Viewer)

Gettysburg is a great place. It's how I got into the toy soldier hobby. Don't know if it's still the case, but when I was there it seemed like there was a toy soldier shop on every corner.

Down to about three now - a few have gone out or reduce their product level to almost nothing. But, still a great place to visit. :)

What did you buy?

I bought my father in law a Summer Panzer Tank (2006)

Yes, I know shocking a WWII purchase from me - but, he loves WWII and I thought it would be a good first tank for him.

Were you tempted to buy a little something for yourself Ron?.Sooner or later mate you'll have to give in.British paras are coming!

Sorry - Rob and I fell into our little chat room didn't we

I had a very nice visit to Fredericksburg on last Sunday - it got me thinking about the battle.

It was in the Winter and the Union Soldiers had their Winter Gear on - since King and Country Union Soldiers are in their non-winter gear - it is hard to make a scene with them at Fredericksburg. What other Civil war battle was held in a City or Town that was House to House fighting like Fredericksburg?

I want to make that display with my K&C old Civil War figures.... ideas anyone?

Most of them were killed so lay them flat and cover them with dirt. :)
