I pulled out my US Army last week and noticed my shelves were filthy...

so I took out the British side and started to Windex the glass shelves...

I can't help myself...it's hard to ignore a couple of hundred lead soldiers on a flat table...

so...

I set them up and took a few pictures...

I'm gonna clean all my shelves...it was actually fun work...

That's a serious display and what any conflict deserves, is to be shown off in a great battle scene, such as yours. Well done Mike, a fantastic collection no doubt built up over many months. Cheers, Robin.

Superb collection Michael, you can't beat a massed display:cool::cool:

Cheers

Martyn:)

Stunning collection!!! I don't mind dusting the troops as its a great excuse to have a good look at them
Mitch

Awesome Michael, surpised the glass could take all that weight

Thanks for the reminder my troops are due for a dusting.

Thank you Walt...Joe...Mitch...Scott...

Joe...it was time for a new avatar...I used the JJD US Army Staff Officer...

Scott...please don't say that...you make me nervous...:D

MIKE...
You load up BIG BERTHA with grapeshot and you will
have a big hole in front of you to move move up your Briths.
and clean up the battle field. Nice pictures, and cabinet.

:eek::eek::eek: Mike thats quite the collection of 1812 figures you,ve got there!
I was wondering the same thing about the wieght of all those figures on glass shelves. Your next cleaning might be broken glass and bayonets!
You would be surprized how much all those figures weigh, luckily most of those glass shelfs can support a lot of weight but be careful and if you hear any creaking of the glass as you put them back..............:p

Mike did you ever count all the soldiers you have from all your ranges?

while they were on the table...
