Cleopatra (2 Viewers)

I was watching a great documentary on the Minoan Civilisation and how they traded aggressively with Egypt. One of the main goods they traded was the the purple dye extracted from the sea shells. This vibrant colour was also prized in Egypt.

So I didn't need any further excuse to go back and repaint Cleopatra's fabric with this shade. I got this lovely oil colour from my last holiday in Spain. The leopard is just waiting to paw her...
