Sharing a few pics of my Newly Detailed Henschel Turret KT. The hull and Turret has added Paint scrape marks exposing bare steel. Added rust to the Tow Cables.
Tracks have been Mucked up as the road wheel area was very clean looking. Also added a K&C Tank commander for a different look.

Looks good PA, definite improvement all round. Love the scene and backdrop as well.

Need to really dust her up mate they are beasts these TCS KT,s.

Don't you like the TCS crew mate ?

It's really unfortunate that one has to take an expensive museum quality tank and rough it up for authenticity; but at the same time, I'm honestly impressed with those of you who do this to add extra paint details. Looks great!

The problem confronting a manufacturer is there is a split among collectors. Some want weathering and added acessories. Some prefer a pristine vehicle that they can customize to their own taste. I fall in the latter catagory and I like late WW II Panzers with interesting camouflage colors and patterns. A manufacturer has to satisfy both sides and in doing so disappoints some.

The Battle of the Bulge is of interest as factory new Panzers with little wear were engaged in short sharp battles and rapidly ran out of fuel. Many pristine Panzers were abandoned by their crews due to lack of fuel or mechanical breakdown.

I like CS vehicles although I have never really warmed to the colours. I have no idea as to how accurate the colours are as I make the observation based purely on personal taste. I came very close to buying what was from memory a CS Jagpanther (did they do one?) that looked very nice. I said to my TS dealer that the one he had on display had sat there for a little while without attracting much attention. My hint for a session of haggling was ignored. He sold it shortly after for full retail so he was probably right to ignore me. But I digress! PA - a nice looking vehicle, nicely photographed.

Excellent repaint, subtle and realistic looking.

I have a lot of their Normandy armour and have found that the models are not as bright as the TCS stock photos indicate, but they may be too bright for some collectors. For those that are reluctant to permanently recolour their models I have previously suggested a dusting of Plaster of Paris powder or similar. It softens the colours and gives the model a dusty appearance, not as White as you'd expect.

Great looking photo. Just a bit of mist needed in the foreground maybe.
