I'd really like a Commonwealth Firefly, Cromwell, updated carrier and a variety of ground troops. As for the opposition, German paras would be a welcome addition along with a Pz. IV, Pak40, and armoured cars.
Well, there are those Fallschirmjäger (FJ) guys![]()
How about you Oz,what would light your candle so to speak this month
Rob
Hi Rob, I would be happy for an easy month as I have been spending a fair bit on retired US sets on ebay etc lately. But if pressed, I hope to see yet more Waffen SS in Camo gear![]()

What US sets have you been after Oz?
Rob
As you know I mainly concentrated on German vehicles because they were in the majority. Then K & C started to release a lot of US sets based on BoB and D-Day and I started buying the odd one as I thought I would have time to catch up. Then Andy C decided to retire terrific little sets like the M-5 prime mover and M-24 which has made me go a bit mad chasing stuff on Ebay. Here's what I have bought in the last few weeks:
HB Amphibious Jeep (to go with mu DUKW and LTV-4/Buffalo that I intend one day to change from Marines to Western Front coloration)
K & C Scout Car (US Markings)
Mortar Halftrack
M-10 US Winter version
M-24 Chaffee
Dodge Truck with water tank trailer (Simmo wouldn't part with his - he's so selfish)
All of those are excellent vehicles Oz.I have those except the HB Jeep, which looks a very nice model and a good idea to have it with the DUKW.I wanted both versions of the Chaffee but lack of dosh meant i just got the winter version, very nice it is too.The mortar half track is another great release, congrats on adding so many great vehicles to your collection in short order. How addictive are K&C vehicles???
Rob
I decided to get the D-Day (Summer) Chaffee because I can just rub some chalk on the olive drab vehicles to blend them into Winter displays. Lately I have also been buying more books about the US Army on the western front, that Osprey Campaign series is a handy size for reading in bed.
Actually Oz i think Osprey are doing 20% off Campaign series this month,i think they are very good for giving a brief overview of the subject.
Rob
The whisper I heard from Hong Kong was that May would not have any new releases, but K&C would continue with new releases next month. The big news this month will be a massive amount of retirements. Especially in the WWII range.
