During the Third Crusade, King Richard the Lionheart and Sultan Saladin, after much bloody fighting,_DSC7488.jpg_DSC7476.jpg_DSC7477.jpg_DSC7478.jpg_DSC7481.jpg eventually agreed to observe a three year truce. Saif adDin, the brother of Saladin, acted as gobetween in setting the conditions of the truce. Here, Richard the Lionheart meets with Saif adDin, to confirm the conditions of the truce.

George......your collection was massive...you said you were gonna trim it down...with what you decided to keep...it still looks fantastic...great job!

Really like the way you set this up. Your figures go well with the theme. It is very colorful.

Thanks very much, Mike! I appreciate that. I just love the King & Country Crusades line and the way the King & Country Life of Jesus line ties in with it. I decided to keep my favorite pieces, pick up a few new pieces and produce a smaller, more peaceful scene. I was determined to finish this new diorama by the end of May and I made it...just finished it yesterday!

Thank you, Guy! The castle is still available from JG Miniatures. My diorama includes the Ancient City gate and an Ancient City Tower on either side. Behind the city gate, I have placed the discontinued and sold out King & Country Desert Village Gate, which can sometimes still be found used. I think the two companies gates tie in well together.
