Seems as though Conte found some ACW sets he thought were all sold out. One of which is the Confederate dead set, I remember someone was looking for them, but don't know if he ever found them or not. Anyway, check Conte's web page for sets available.

Caught our playset addict Joe Baker playing again....The Lt.

He's actually from the Conte ACW set from the Battle of Mannasas, that had Jeb Stuart, he is a Union Zouave officer btw....

Can anyone remember the last time Conte released a new set of figures?

Make sure you ask and ask twice as not all these sets are avaliable even though they are shown. Before you get your hopes up ask them if they do indeed have the set you are looking for. I was very disappointed:(:(

Hopefully the two attached photos along with previous one I've posted of the playset addicts play time will encourage both the playset addict and UKReb to share with us a number of photos of their Conte Civil War Sets and figures. Food for thought for the both of them and hope they both take me up on it along with others who've collect Conte's Civil War Series in both metal and plastic. Like the Reb said I would as soon as the new Conte Zulu War Figures arrive at my Land of the Zulus I'll be spending quite a bit of time playing in the Conte Section of the forum with them....The Lt

I have lots of that figure in plastic. Sometimes I remove the braiding on the sleeves and make him a Union officer.

Here you go Joe,

A couple of pictures of those same Sons of the South figures coming under murderous and intense Yankee artillery fire that I set up a while back.

Although slightly bigger than the usual Conte size-set up on their own they were indeed some of RC's greatest poses as nobody but nobody has ever depicted the pain and horror of war as Conte has done.

Roll on those Zouaves :D
