Conte Church Question (1 Viewer)

Beaufighter:

Glad you were able to get your Church! It is a great piece, I hope you enjoy

it as much as I do mine. Glad you got it from George at Minuteman, he is a

great dealer and wonderful to work with.

You did very well, a great item, and a great contact!

I've bought some models from Treefrog being our forum sponsor that we all should support if we can. I'm not sure about George. I'll have to wait and see if he sends me a Christmas card this year as I think I may have upset him when I was complaining about those K & C tracks. Hey, it sorta worked out ok didn't it, because Andy said he's going to fix them, but now I find I have less to complain about :)

Nija & Jazzeum:

It was your posts & suggestions that prompted me-thanks for the idea. I too have purchased from TREEFROG due to this forum but George as also earned some future business. Solid follow-through & a custom job at that is simply wonderful customer service.

Hi it was the next playset. The Priory and courtyard fit right next to the

Church as you can see in the photo. The Priory sits next to the ruined church

wall, and the courtyard fits next to the church.

I found a second ruined wall section which fits alongside the 1st so the

church can be enlarged with a larger roof as Ken Osen (the original designer)

did for Michigan Toy Soldier.

This photo shows what a nice fit the two pieces have.

George is your best source! Drop him a note, somehow he always manages

to produce just one more!

Of course if you are attending the show you may find one under a bed!

I also finally found the ruined farmhouse, they are all really great pieces.

Oz, I have it from a quite reliable source that lieu of a Christmas card George will be making a generous donation in your name to the "Human Fund".:D

Hi Njja,

I wonder if you could do me a favour. Is there any chance of a photo of the church on it's own (as supplied in the playset)?

I have seen many slightly different variations, that I'm not sure what 'just' the church looks like and what are additional pieces or parts from the Priory set.

Cheers

Funny :)

Vandilay, will like that one as well.

Hi Simon here is a shot of just the Church. It consists of the base, middle

and steeple. The Churchs all seem to be painted differently, and some fit

together better then others. It is foam so it can be trimmed for a perfect

fit, and painted to your taste. Here is a shot complete with the original Conte

Paratrooper

Njja,
