Up for sale is the Conte Fort Zinderneuf Beau Geste Playset 2 Boxes Limited edition. This is being sold for a friend who is not online. It is a rather large playset, I have included 3 pics. It is in 2 boxes and was from the first and only run, I believe only 500 of these were ever done. For French Foreign Legion fans or even any collector who wants probably the most impressive Fort Dio I have ever seen!

Limited version includes: Entire Fort, over 80 figures as well as a copy of the book and video and many other accessories.

Condition - all in original boxes, basically new, not sure if it was ever set up. One box has wear from shipping, other is near mint. Regarding foam pieces, other than storage wear and one small interior piece that broke in 2 (Clean break, when set up, you don't notice at all), I would call this mint.

Price is $400. Now, shipping. It is very large and that will be at cost, however, it can be picked up in Maryland or it will be available at any of the Annandale VA shows or potentially the Fairleigh Dickenson U Show late October.

What size is the fort
and what scale??
Thank u
Maple Leaf

Here is the size description from old Conte literature - basically 1/32nd scale!

This magnificent playset consist of a multi-piece, true 1/32nd scale model of the famed "Fort Zinderneuf" just as it appeared in the classic film about "heroic adventures," "savage desert tribesmen," and "men who laugh in the face of death!" At over 30" square, our Fort Zinderneuf is complete with "The Barracks" and "The Tower of Death." The roof lifts off of the barracks so you can create "The Viking Funeral." Also included are a working front gate and accessories.

The poses include 13 different French Foreign Legion poses plus eight (8) Taureg poses. Over 80 figures are included in the set! Look for the brothers Geste - John, Digby, and Beau. A dead Beau, his "dog," Sgt. Markoff, and Legionnaires in all sorts of poses along with eight (8) attacking Arabs.

Hope that helps,
Tom
