Guys, I was just wondering if anyone here knows if Maison Militaire will have Conte's ACW sets in London next month. I emailed them but have had no reply.

Wow, you really have been 'Reb-ed' haven't you.
I understand Bob is looking at buying some of those tank things now.

Ken Jackson is not known for replying to any enquiries- I gave that up in 2005 trying to get a reply. Plus he has never had a web-site.
However, he has always been in attendance in Hall B every time I've been to the London show. Depending on what you are after I do believe he restocked with a few ACW sets which RC apparently found during his move to his new NC warehousing set-up. Jackson had most of the Sons of the South sets but he did not have any Reb/Union casualties when I asked- instead I bought his Zouave duo fighting sets just to get the wounded/prone Rebs.

Right now Ken is hicking in the Scottish Highlands. He will be in London but I don't know what stock he has, other than the new Heritage. If you can tell me what you're after I'll be seeing him before the show.

I buy from Conte all the time, usually from the US ebay site. They sell as Beaugeste Collectibles and the ebay price is usually better then what is listed on the Conte Collectibles web site. You can also find bargains from time to time when collecters sell some of their unwanted sets. I've never had a problem with the sellers or the shipping. Of course, you'll pay a little more for postage to the UK but they do ship there. Jeff
