I bow to your awesomeness my Consul. :) You truly have a very unique Romans collection. I so wish I still had my Atlantic plastic Romans from back in my childhood.

I do apprecaite you posting these pictures. One of my favorite Romans is the mounted Caesar by KC. Never really thought much of him till he was in my collection. Your mounted St. Pete figures are truly the stuff of legend. I am currently on hold re cavalry as I spent most of my big money assimilating as many Figarti Abrams tanks as I could. I have done that but want to see what CS and FL and Conte can do re mounted troops.

I do have like 5 ST Pete Romans along with some offshoot Russian Romans.

Seriously, your stuff is very awe inspiring. Can't wait to see the FL figures at HAckensack.

See you on the Field of Mars!! {sm4}
CC, Primus Pilum, Legio 506 {sm4}

Chris thank you so much for your very kind comments.I hope you have a lot of luck at the show finding your Romans.Thank you again and happy collecting.Mike B.:D^&grin:D

Had to take another look and get my daily fix!! {sm4} Seriously, I could look at this display for hours.

The auxilliary cavalry- about third picture down- appears to be some sort of vignette- any particular maker?

I should be picking up my Roman Ballista any day now- it's an Andrea kit I had painted and assembled. Can't wait to show it off!! {sm4}

Chris thank you again glad to find someone who loves Romans.The vignette.s---there are actually 3 in that shot are all Pegasso kits that i bought from another collector who had them painted through Kolobob in Russia there are 5-6 in the set .I only got 3 someone else got the other 3.If you go to Kolobob's website almost at the end you can see them and order them painted or unpainted at Pegasso's site.thanks again Mike B.

CHRIS I POSTED THESE BEFORE BUT IN CASE YOU DID NOT SEE THEM I WILL POST AGAIN.i ALWAYS FELT YOU CAN TELL THE QUALITY OF A ROMAN FIGURE BY THE SHIELD PAINT.I love Aeroart but i think Kolobob are the best for paint detail.I hope you like them.Mike B.

Simply STUNNING!! I do not recall having seen those pictures of yours before. I have seen kolobob work before, sorry though my friend, they are out of my tax bracket. {sm2}

Chris i understand the Kolobob stuff can get expensive.About half those figures i got on e-bay for around 100.00 or so the others were 2 or 2.5 times that so i understand they are a little pricey.I just feel they are exceptional figures.MIke B:D

Mike and Chris I'm sure most will agree the Roman figures are very nicely done but seems we've gotten off the path of Salves and Gladiators. Seems like they should continue to be talked about and featured on an Aeroart Thread which I'm sure will be enjoyed.......The Lt.
