Splendid shots!!! Easily my favorite Conte line.

BTW- Is that Mt. McKinley in the background?? :)

I'm not sure...you mean there aren't mountains like that in England?????? Dang!!

^&grin^&grin

Thank you again for the pictures. There are some remarkable dioramas being posted by people these days- really entertaining to see!!

Dio looks amazing.great detail work excellent job.

Is this plastic or metal?

Those are metal.
Nice stuff Joe!
I do love the dark ages. You can paint each warrior different.Have you tried repainting duplicate factory metal guys with different colored tunics, or changed the shield designs for some more variety?
I'd love to see Conte do some more Vikings and in particular Norman cavalry.

Some neat pics there lots of fun i did not get to many of the Metal sets myself just a few choice pieces that did not get made in plastic.
Norman flagBearer was a must have, for plastic i also realy like the Emhar Vikings as good as the Conte's.
Still most of the stuff out there for Vikings or Normans tend to have them in a more Action/fighting raiding poses.
What i want is just standing poses with sheilds held in front a little boring for collectors maybe but great if you want to build a mass of men for a big battle.
Vikings in chain mail would be good too ^&cool

Great set-up with some very nice pieces , don't see too many viking dio's ..posted one of my favourite ranges at the moment. Agree about more norman riders have the sets released and they are classy pieces with great poses.

These look really good mixed together.
Maybe I need some of them.

Nice dio and photos. It's been a while since Conte released any new Vikings. They made some very nice Vikings and siege machines and were supposed to have been working on a big siege tower, but it never materialized. I wonder if Conte will ever releasae any new additions to their excellent Viking range. Thanks for posting your excellent dio.

Nicely done Joe . . . thoroughly enjoyed the photos . . . Odin would be proud . . .
:smile2: Mike
