You're kidding right? K&C isn't even in the competition in Civil War figures.

I think you missed my point - what I was saying in Conte has some great CW figures and sets. I especially like the "Crater Series"

King and Country just started making Civil War figures again - after a long absence - due to the recent purchase of Kings X store. There is great demand for those figures in that shop in Texas.

My original point was that Andy/K&C has some catching up to do with figures and poses to match the level that Conte has established.

I don't think K and c's heart is in the ACW. I agree their offerings in that area are a bit unimaginative. Conte and Briatains re top do here. I would say Lee Indomiatbale and those Troiani sets as well as Rolling thunder are some of teh best done. I think old RC dropped the ball with that SOS series unfortunatley. They are just too big and I am grateful that that was pointed out to me.

King and Country just got back into the game of making CW figures - give them some time and I think we shall see some interesting stuff.

Conte needs to avoid the mistake of size with the SOS range and get back to those wonderful figures they did with the Irish Brig, Rolling Thunder, Crater series. IMHO.

These figures give the impression they could be based on a 'King Solomon's Mines' scenario.

Jeff,
A "King Solomon's Mines" Scenario would be on my MUST HAVE list.

See, my thread "New 2" over in the K&C section.

Cheers

How do those garments manage to stay on in those extreme situations? I mean really with todays manufacturing techniques one would think that "equipment malfuntions" like the one last year at the super bowl would be impossible.;)

:D:D You'd think with all her advisers, she'd have come up with something a little better than 'equipment malfunction'

Initially they were going to go with 'revealed boob' - which of course means to uncover an unfortunate and embarrassing mistake. However they decided something more technical would help to baffle and confuse the media and general population.

We don't have the Superbowl over here but I obviously must be missing out in this case...

Not on too much it was only Janet Jackson she probably needed the publicity.

'King Solomon's Mines'

Conte's figures mirror the movies so 'King Solomon's Mines' would make sense! And not that wimpy version with Richard Chamberline.
