Hi Guys,

Next Wednesday, 6 March, I fly off to Los Angeles for the annual “WESTCOASTER” Show held at the Irvine Marriott Hotel in beautiful downtown Irvine.

The “Westcoaster” might not be the biggest toy soldier show in the world but it is one of the most enjoyable!

For a few days and nights collectors, dealers and manufacturers get to eat, sleep, drink and talk toy soldiers almost non-stop. As I’ve said and written on more than a few occasions, “It’s the most fun you can have with your clothes on!

I heartily recommend this multi-day show to anyone who loves the fun and fascination of collecting toy soldiers and military miniatures.

So, in the nicest possible way, I urge you to support ALL toy soldier shows wherever and whenever there is one near you….Or even not so near you…Irvine is a long, long way from Hong Kong but I value the knowledge I get and the friends I meet at shows like this…The internet is a poor substitute!
While I’m at it a very big THANKYOU to Woody and Craig (Bubba) who do all the “legwork” and running around to make an event like this happen. Two of the nicest and most helpful guys in the hobby.

See you at the Marriott! All the best and….happy collecting.

Andy C.

P.S. Here’s the special K&C designed “Show Bag” for this year’s event.

I'm looking forward to catching up w/ Andy & the K & C team and many, many others at the Westcoaster. I'm hoping Gordon's diorama book will be available. Back in Sept. Brad had mentioned that the Westcoaster was the tentative target date for the release of the book. And yes indeed, thank you Craig & Woody for making this the best weekend of the year!

Joe

I've never been to the West Coaster but hope to go one of these years. I know that Craig and Woody do a great job so thank you from an East Coaster :smile2:

Hope all of you who attend pick up some great stuff.

Brad
