The latest Crimean War releases from K&C are the Coastal 8 inch Cannon and crew which I received earlier this month. Excellent figures and concept but being a metal collector I felt a little disappointed when I realised the cannon was plastic, but still a nice model none the less.
Anyhow, the question was how best to display this set along with the British Infantry released last year?
JG Miniatures Boer War Blockhouse base makes for a fine little redoubt which the cannon and crew fit into a treat. The green grass slope and raised grass base sections are also JG products as are the rest of the scenic items and backdrop.
Here’s the end result, and I hope there are more Crimean War releases to come in the near future.
Thanks
Jeff

Right Terry agreed, but are 1/35 plastic kits 'Cheap kids toys' I wonder, again as you say some will adapt others won't, still not a big issue to me.
