Crimean War Collection (1 Viewer)

Thanks Guys! :) Tony did a great job on the terrain boards and as I am so pleased with the way they turned out, there are three more in the planning stage. :D

I know the figures are more expensive than the normal K&C ranges but as an exclusive range with two releases each year (in a period that is one of my favourites) I found this combination affordable. ;)

And worth every penny. The Lancers are in my view some of the best mounted figures K&C have ever made.

very nice jeff, well set the figurines.

I really like these Crimeans soldiers.

Very nice stuff. I have been bought a few of the TRL and love the ones I have.

Is it me or, is the current slate the cost getting just a little boring. I know I am newish to the site but, if we cannot discuss figures etc without the digs over price then its sad.

Admire the work and comment on that buy what you can afford and be happy or, get another job which pays more or, work harder who knows?

We are all in the same boat (so to speak) to some level and should remember its a hobby which is supposed to make us happy.

As I said love the UK range the quality is top notch.

The Crimea range is really good and potentially could be better too..hope someday to finish this range (i'm really slow)..

This range is very very nice , just deplore this set CRW007

because the figurine of transpierced artilleryman is very interesting, and marvelously go with the others soldiers and the mood of the range , but what make with this expensive superfluous gun ?

If at least it was destroyed, as Collector'S Showcase did it with his Imperial French Guard Artillery range :

I have recently acquired the last few figures that I needed to complete the excellent Crimean War range by K&C UK. Up to now I have only displayed my figures on the shelves of a small display cabinet but I have really wanted them in a diorama. This has now been possible thanks to two factors, firstly a new and larger display cabinet and secondly a couple of terrain boards made for me by the very talented Tony Neville of K&C UK.

Tony has made a great job on the terrain boards – thanks again Tony! :)

The first one is for the Charge of the Light Brigade and the second one is a combination of the Thin Red Line and Alma, just awaiting the addition of more Russians!

In a couple of weeks time the latest releases will be added. ;)

Jeff

I've added the new figures to my collection and this time took the terrain boards out of the cabinet for the photos.

Apparently there are Russian Infantry being released in December and these will be used to oppose the Coldstream Guards.

First up - The Charge!

Jeff

Not really, £50 for both, which I thought was very reasonable. Tony made them to my specifications to fit the shape of the cabinet.

An excellent collection Jeff and one that will just get better no doubt as times goes on. Thanks for sharing it with us.
