:( I just received my K & C MG019-Little Dissapointed on the Crew, Very Small (Tiny) than Adverage 1/30th so Scale! Also, the MG001 and MG002 isn't made of METAL at All? The OLD Retired ARNHEM Jeeps Sets, was made of Metal! For the Money that this MGO10, is Selling for; they should be made of Metal! The RSO-is Very Nice! Now , possible a DAK Version, Towing a Nebelwerfer/PAK 40? The ELEPHANT-is Nice but Very Light Weight, and Not as (Heavy) as Expected?

Look on the bright side, just think how much we'll save in postal charges.

John,
One of us has got a rare version then, 'cause I'm pretty sure mine's made of metal.

Mine as well.....must be Brits only.....

Andy

Just did notice that only one of the headlights on MG001 is painted.
Is that supposed to be like that and if so why?

I bought BBA004 (Friend or Foe) Jeep and figures set, and noted the Jeep had a lot of resin parts but the base appeared to be metal. It was an ok model but the windscreen surround was rather thick as some have noted. The set didn't really fit in with what I had and I sold it off.

I have found that the K & C figures in most of the vehicles appear to be smaller than their ordinary figures. I guess they have to be slightly undersized to fit them in awkward positions, or perhaps it's because most of their vehicles are 1/32 scale.

I would be interested to know why the Elephant is relatively light, maybe it has some resin parts as well. The Normandy style color scheme has made me reluctant to part with the funds for the elephant and I'm sure there are plenty of others that are waiting for a winter whitewash version.

Oz,
I believe that there are different types of polystone used by K&C. My WS43 Tiger and WS70 Winter Tiger come from the same mold, but one is significantly lighter than the other (can't for the life of me remember which way round ).

Thanks Simon, I guess it's a simple matter of less calcium carbonate and more resin for a lighter polystone model.
