Crusaders anyone?? (1 Viewer)

FINALLY, getting back to a point where I can post a few things...love the FL Crusader series and have set up a bookcase dio for now. Cheers !

Wow, very nice.

So jealous you have de Villiers. That is one of my grails.

Where did you get the castle walls? They look nice.

Thanks much Bradley, the castle is JG Miniatures, bought the parts from our friends here at TF. I wanted to be able to do a dio a bit larger than the pieces FL offered

....BTW where's the FL gate section that's supposed to be forthcoming ???

Sammy,
The Templar mounted standard bearer is on eBay for $199 plus shipping. Not a ton over list price. You will love it. A beautiful figure.

I love crusaders not being Templars
during 1st crusade they are no Templar at all
Nobles went to war with their usual garbs, idem for their troops, with a small cross made of cloth ( colour; what was available ) sewn on the chest

Two years ago I had 4,000 54mm metal & plastic(many conversions)Crusaders & Saracens..probably 500 mounted for both.Tried to sell 'em here..no takers.

Same, same War of 1812 'Battle of Lundy's Lane' 7/25/1814.Every man/gun casualty, horse building left at 11:00PM for the last British Banzai up that hill.
4,000 pieces, no takers in Canada(for display!) or here in Niagara Falls. Sold 'em all as well.
