Crusaders & Saracens (2 Viewers)

It looks like he may have removed the base of the figures in order to have them "standing free" in the diorama. Is that correct? If so, how does one do so without damaging the figure?

I'd just cover the bases with sand rather than cut anything, but that's just me :D

Had various pieces come off the K&C figures but no heads yet (except the sarcen with the crusader head that came off :p) Have just got some del prado figures cheap which I intend butchering and experimenting on though:D:D Their limbs though are usually down by their sides but there are a few with arms out , will have a go at swapping various bits:eek:

I received a mounted figure in February with the head and pelisse broken off. It was packaged correctly and was easily fixed with a touch of superglue.
No big deal and I only mention it cos it's still such a mystery as to how it happened..:confused::cool:

Cheers

Nice work NM,
I'm having fun as I speak, swopping del prado limbs around for different poses:) Dunno what the end result will be , but when I'm finished I'll post WS121 the new frankenstein set :D:D
I bring you the new Frankenstein heer set WS121 (courtesy of a few butchered del prado figures and a damaged K&C tanker and a couple of sloppy repaints :))
