Crusaders (1 Viewer)

I wish Andy would have done the napoleonics in 1/32 so they could go with the rest of my napoleonics, so thats one more vote for the 1/32 scale. Thats one of the only things I don,t like about K&C.

Sorry boys, I like'm large. (maybe it's cause I'm getting old and can't see the small stuff as well)
As to mixing, there isn't enough stuff out there that stands the quality test to make me wnat to switch.
PS for those of you that have both, is the collectors club crusader fig larger than the new issue?

Hi Guys,

Re the above subject… Speaking personally… for World War Two I like the 1:30 scale and K&C will definitely not be going to 1:32 scale.

On other subjects I can be more flexible. Our new Crusaders and Saracens are 1:32 scale to complement the Russian makers… K&C ‘s Alamo is closer to 1:32 than 1:30 as are our Napoleonics. Our Ancient Egyptians might even be 1:31! As I’ve said many times before collectors buy what they like (almost regardless of scale) but even among companies who profess to produce 1:32 there is a huge disparity of size. So at the end of the day pick and collect what you like… regardless of size and scale. Why do you think Honour Bound… Patriot… NMA… all have gone for 1:30—coincidence or what?

Anyway, that’s all for now folks!

Best wishes and… happy collecting!

WWI, 1/30 scale, hmmm...I missed something right, KC and WWI in the future? Yeah, I probably missed someting or a rumor or two or am I reading too much into this?

I really need to read these posts more carefully otherwise I'll miss some important news, LOL.

Hi Guys,

Re the above subject… Speaking personally… for World War Two I like the 1:30 scale

May be the "World War Two I" bit.

This could be a subliminal K&C message to hint at an intended WWI series.
I quite like the idea of the subliminal bit. K&C UK are giving it a go with the skull and crossbones. I may try it.......

British Paras, British Paras, British Paras

Don't worry Carlos, I thought the exact same thing for a while before I read Andy's post again.

My first batch of Crusaders arrived today-WOW, I'm hooked. The detail, the poses, the craftsmanship are as awesome as I hope they'd be. On a 'leap of faith', I've already ordered some of the Saracens and now CAN'T WAIT for them to get in.

Now if I could ony get my hands on the limited edition crusader that came out for the K&C club members-before I started collecting K&C...

Hi.
If you think the Crusaders are WOW!.. you wait till you get the Saracens, they are even better. I saw these at the London show, they are just the business! I have a couple of the Crusaders and hopefully will pick up a couple more next week.
The Saracens will have to wait till the new year.
Let me know what you think of them.
Regards
Jeff.

Re: Crusaders-Wish List for 2007

Has anyone had a hint to what additions will be made to the Crusader line in 2007 ?
Here's what I would like:

-Archers to go with the Crossbowmen
-Pikemen in action/combat poses to compliment the guys marching
-Mounted figures in combat poses
-Castle/towers
-Battering ram

That would keep me busy (and broke) in 2007.
My Saracens have arrived and will open them tonite-can't wait !

Thanks K&C.

Recieved 4 special editions yesterday (1 horseman and 3 foot soliders)I think they may have been made for promotion only. They are just great!:)

See the pics? Sorry about the horseman, but it is no. MK008 in different colour!

I just love them!
