Another great warbird release by King & Country! Hoping KC will produce a complementary crew and pilot for the desert airforce.

That is one nice warbird. Andy told me last year he was diong this for the desert. I asked for a Australian one for the Pacific. He never metioned to me if he would do another one. Simmo.{sm2}

This is a great looking aircraft and I'm in on one. If Andy would do an AVG version I would be in on that one as well. IMO, the AVG has a built in following that would make it a good seller. That said, KC has done a splendid job on this DAF version. The color combos just stand out really well. -- Al

This is my favourite release for quite some time and I'm really looking forward to one touching down in my home. Its close with the Me-109 and BOB Spitfire but I think it just edges them out as my new favourite. I'm sure supporting groundcrew, pilots, fuel bowser etc cannot be far off. All I need now is a Japanese Zero and an ALUMINUM coloured U.S. warbird and my airport is complete.................maybe! :eek:

A Pacific version would be cool, this has to be my favourite plane todate!

We are thinking alike. For me the mists that remain are a silver Mustang, preferably with invasion stripes, a Zero, and a Corsair.

SPOT ON "Al The Pal"! I am thankful that I do not collect this Theatre of WW II or I would already be diagnosed with "pre-order syndrome". Enjoy your new kite once she lands!

Tally Ho,
Marc

Thanks, Marc. I'm sure I will. Marseille's 109 will face off with the Duke P-40 on a selected shelf as my only two desert pieces. And I REALLY want an AVG P-40B. ^&grin -- Al

I agree. I think of the AVG automaticaly when you mention the Curtis P-40 Warhawk. Kind of like The Voight F-4U Corsair when Baa Baa Black Sheep or Pappy Boyington is mentioned. Or the P-38 when Yamamoto was shot down.
