D-Day + 6.5 Tank Recovery (1 Viewer)

Just love the morning mist and great use of the W'Britains French farm house in the distance too!{sm4}

Good call Toddy on the WB Farm house!

One day, I'm going to buy that farm!

My favorite is the middle picture of the below series as having a unknown threat of a sniper or artillery observer sighting in the crew as they work. The tank commander, although looking away from the camera, senses the danger and has the posture of apprehension and concern. Perhaps he should have broke the peace and put a HE round into it.

So I added another scene of a local provincial resident, too caught up in her reading to assess her current situation. But perhaps she senses the danger to her farm house and will break out in song and dance tune with her goats and owl singing the chorus of the next big Disney hit since "Let it Go"

"There's no snipers in the farm house, you really must agree!
No need to fire in a round of short-fused high-explosive, into the eaves!
As there's no snipers in the farm house only a family of three!
So please do not call an Air Strike of Typhoons from the sky, as there's no snipers in the farm house that will bother thee!
There's no snipers in the farm house, I hope that you can see, no K-98's or semi-automatic G-43's tied up in the trees!
There's no snipers in the farm house that will bring you misery, so please don't shoot the windows out, into a pile of debris!
There's no snipers in the farm house, just a Provincial French Family caught up in the invasion of Normandy!
